Former Chairman of Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC) ASM Mobaidul Islam passed away while undergoing treatment in the city’s United Hospital on Tuesday last.
He left behind wife, four sons, a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Mobaidul worked in various capacities including Divisional Commissioner of Chattogram, Joint Secretary of the Water Resources Ministry and Director of he Foreign Ministry.
He is the elder brother of Deputy Director of Public Relations Office of Bangladesh Water Development Board Samima Aktar.
