On the occasion of the third anniversary and fourth year of Rangpur Metropolitan Police, the Traffic Department of the Police conducted an eviction drive at important places to reduce traffic congestion in the metropolis. They pledged to liberate sidewalks and roads, create public awareness about road transport laws and keep sidewalks clean, bring traffic congestion to a tolerable level and alleviate the suffering of the people by pledging to provide traffic services and keep it uninterrupted.
Under the direction of Abdul Alim Mahmud, members of all levels of Rangpur Metropolitan Police Traffic Department provided overall support in the operation plan of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) and in the management of traffic services.
