Science and Technology Minister Yafes Osman said that everyone working in the Rooppur nuclear project, including Russians, will be given corona vaccine on urgent basis. He told The New Nation over telephone on Thursday afternoon that the Rooppur project is in a critical condition due to corona attack.
The project workers are being tested twice a day for entry and exit temperatures. No one is not allowed to enter the project without test report if the temperature changes. A high-level team is coming from Russia, he said, adding that a multi-storey building in Green city under this project is being allocated for the Isolation Center. With their cooperation, not only Russian workers, but all working people will be ensured to be vaccinated soon.
