Noted Lawyer Dr Shahdeen Malik on Saturday said, the trial of every disappearance and every killing cases will be held.
“The disappearance and killing are continuing in the country. It is a bad sign for us. The people are crying for justice. I strongly believe that the trial of all such incidents will be held in future,” he said.
Shahdeen Malik said this while speaking to a discussion titled “Gum o Ganotantrer Obyahoto Songram” organised by Fundamental Rights Protection Committee held at Jatiya Press Club on Saturday.
Professor Anu Muhammad, Barrister Sara Hossain and Professor Rahnuma Ahmed, among others, spoke at the programme.
Shahdeen Malik said that the trials of the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1975, Jail killing and crime against humanity in 1971 had been done. So, the families who faced disappearance and killings will get their justice in the country. “We will continue our movement against disappearance and killing,” he said.
