Bangladesh women handball finished third in the 5th South Asian Women’s Handball championships, which concluded in Lucknow, India on Tuesday.
Bangladesh lost their last match against eventual champions India 27-11.
The women in red and green started the championship campaign with win over Bhutan and Afghanistan, but lost to Nepal in their third match before conceding defeat against India on Tuesday.
