A high powered delegation of European Union is scheduled to arrive Dhaka today to hold talks with parties on holding a free, fair and inclusive election in Bangladesh.
The team to be led by director of European External Action Services, South and Southeast Asia Affairs, a report from London carried out Shirsha News from Dhaka said yesterday.
The three-member team is expected to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hassina, Election Commission officials and leaders of opposition political parties. It will also meet senior leaders of the government, said the report.
The are expected to focus on an agenda of action to restore an accountable democratic in Bangladesh.
