A 3-day’s training programme on “Generate your Business Idea” as part of “Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) Programme of ILO” came to an end at Bangladesh Bank Training Academy on Thursday.
The training programme has been conducted by European Union funded INSPIRED project – component 1 & 2b which is managed by the Ministry of Industries, in close collaboration with International Labour Organisation (ILO) – Country office for Dhaka, Association of Grassroots Women Entrepreneurs, Bangladesh (AGWEB), Women Entrepreneurs Association of Bangladesh (WEAB), For the Woman By the Women Forum (FWBW) with the support of Bangladesh Bank Training Academy.
Selected women entrepreneurs from numerous districts and divisions of Bangladesh participated in the training programme. The motive behind this training programme was to nurture their knowledge on how to expand their existing business, as well as on how to begin a new business with their unused resources and experiences.
On Thursday, the last day of the training, a certificate distribution ceremony was held followed by a press conference.
Nasreen Fatema Awal, Founder President, WEAB and Cezar Dragutan, Chief Technical Advisor, ILO, among others were present.
