Impress Telefilm Ltd is producing an anthology film titled Short length, Long Journey. A talented group of filmmakers will be working on this film aptly titled Eti, Tomari Dhaka, or in English Sincerely, your Dhaka. In the global cinema industry anthology is a very popular and important genre of films. This type of films is usually the combination of several short length features.
An introductory programme was held on Channel i rooftop on April 12.
Faridur Reza Sagar (Managing Director of Impress Telefilms Ltd and Channel i) the producer of this film, along with Ebne Hasan Khan; another producer and Abu Shahed Emon; the creative producer attended the programme. The films artists, directors and other guests also attended the program. Among the directors present were Golam Kibria Farooki, Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, Mahmudul Islam, Mir Mukarram Hossain, Nuhash Humayun, Rahat Rahman, Robiul Alam Robi, Syed Saleh Ahmed Sobhan, Syed Ahmed Shawki, Tanim noor and Tanvir Ahsan.
Each film in the anthology will tell a story of Dhaka. The length of the anthology will be 10 to 12 minutes. As soon as production is completed, the film will be released locally in Bangladesh as well as internationally.
