The Parliamentary Committee on Public Undertakings on Wednesday recommended establishing a regional training centre of Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) in every divisional city to spread training activities and create a skilled manpower in the country.
The committee made the recommendation at its 21st meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban here, a press release said.
Chairman of the committee Shawkat Ali presided over the meeting while committee members Muhibur Rahman Manik and M Abdul Wadud were present.
The meeting also suggested disposing of the audit objections of BIM as early as possible.
