Staff Reporter: Eskaton garage fire victim woman succumbed to her injuries in hospital on Sunday morning.
The deceased Jannatul Ferdousi, 38, passed away while undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery after losing her son in the tragedy.
Jannatul Ferdousi suffered burns on 95 percent of her body.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s burns unit coordinator Samanta Lal Sen told it journalists.
It takes the death toll from the incident to four.
Ferdousi’s husband Shahidul Kirmani Roni, 45, also injured from the fire is still at the hospital under treatment with 43 percent of his body burnt.
The fire broke out in the five-storey building’s garage in Dilu Road, Eskaton in the capital on Thursday.
Three bodies, including that of Ferdousi’s son ‘Rushdee’, were recovered from the site after the fire incident.
