Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad on Sunday relieved his special adviser Bobby Hajjaj of the post as it does not come within the purview of organisational framework as prescribed in his party constitution.
According to a press release, Bobby Hajjaj was appointed only for discharging duties as the Chairman’s special adviser. “There’ll be no relations between the party and Bobby following the order,” it said.
Earlier, Bobby announced to join the election to Dhaka City Corporation (North) as a mayoral candidate despite the party’s decision to back its Dhaka city (north) unit general secretary Bahauddin Ahmed Babul in the polls, billed for April 28.
