Envoys of four countries present credentials to President

High Commissioners designate of Ghana, Malta and Uganda and ambassador designate of Croatia to Bangladesh separately presented their credentials to President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Tuesday.
The all non-resident envoys are – Samuel Panyin Yalley of Ghana, John Joseph Aquilina of Malta, Elizabeth Paula Napeyok of Uganda and Amir Muharemi of Croatia.
Welcoming the ambassador and high commissioners, the President hoped that the envoys will put in their efforts to expand bi-lateral relations between Bangladesh and their respective countries, President’s Press secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
The President urged them to initiate steps to exchange business delegation between Bangladesh and the countries.
Abdul Hamid assured all-out cooperation to the envoys in discharging their assignments in Bangladesh.
The envoys told the President that they would work to enhance bi-lateral co-operation with Bangladesh.
Concerned secretaries to the President were present.
Earlier, on their arrival at Bangabhaban, the envoys were given guard of honor separately by a contingent of the President’s Guard Regiment.
