Members of District Protibondhi Legal Aid Committee (DPLAC) at a discussion have called for extending legal assistance to the physically challenged people for ensuring justice as well as human rights for them.
The DPLAC, Rangdhanu Zila Protibondhi Adhikar Sangstha (RZPAS) and Protyasha Protibondhi Nari O Shishu Unnayan Sangstha (PPNSUS) jointly organised the discussion at RZPAS office in Keranipara area Rangpur yesterday.
ADD International and Manusher Janno Foundation extended cooperation in arranging the discussion for further strengthening activities of the DPLAC with President of DPLAC Advocate MA Basher Tipu in the chair.
Vice-presidents of DPLAC Advocate Kohinoor Begum and Mahbub Rahman Habu, its General Secretary Tamjida Zannati Shilpi, Joint Secretaries Advocate Khatune Zannat Sweet and Advocate AKM Harun-Ur Rashid, participated in the discussion.
