President Md Abdul Hamid on Sunday urged elected representatives at the grassroots to ensure justice for the people and work for their welfare.
President Hamid was addressing at a view-exchange meeting with local elected representatives and elite at a local Auditorium Community Center in Mitamoin on Sunday noon.
Veteran freedom fighter principle Abdul Haque presided over the meeting. Local MP Rejwan Ahamed Toufique, Bangabhaban Secretary Sampad Barua, Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas, SP Md Anower Hossain Khan, Zilla Parishad Chairman Adv Md Zillur Rahman, Upazila Chairman Adv Abdus Shaheed, UNO Taslima Ahmed Poly were also present. President called upon all irrespective of political affiliation to forge unity for doing good things which would help them to build a peaceful society.
