Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA)including District Administration in Kishoreganj arranged a awareness seminar on Safe food Act-2013 and Rules and Regulation and excursion held at local circuit house conference room on Monday.
Shahnewaz Dilruba Khan, Joint Secretary and Member of Bangladesh Food safety Authority (BFSA) was attended as Chief Guest, while Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Shamim Alam presided over.
It was addressed among others by Civil Surgeon (CS) Dr.Mujibur Rahman,as special guest, ADM Farzana Khanam, Additional SP Anairban Chowdhury, ADC(General) Nazmul Islam Sarker, CAB district president Alam Sarowar Tito Sadar UNO. District Education Officer (DEO,) Shamsun Nahar Maksudha, BFSA law officer Ferdous Arafath, Chamber Sr.Vice President Hafez Md.Khalekuzzaman, District Press Club president Mostafa Kamal , Hotel -Restura somity president Abdus Shaheed CAB district secretary Monowar Hossein Rony, S.V school Headmaster Shahnewaz kabir and Mohila Awami League district secretary Bilkis Begum.
BFSA member and Joint Secretary Shahnewaz Dilruba Khan said that safe food would play a very significant role in building a healthy and strong nation.
The incumbent government is making efforts to build safe food production, processing, preservation marketing , consumption habits. Public awareness can make this efforts more fruitful and successful, she added.
