Ensure safe food is now the demand of time. It is possible to ensure safe food, it will be possible to build a healthy, strong, hardworking and talented population..
Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) in Kishoreganj District Office arranged a training workshop on Safe food Act-2013 and Rules and Regulation with Hotel Restaurant owners and employees at a local Chinese Restaurant Conference Hall on Monday.
BFSA , Safe food offoer in Kishoreganj Ashraful Alam presided over the programme.
CAB in Kishoreganj District President Alam Sarowar Tito and Senior Cammist Rubayet Tahareem Shorab of Environment Department, Kishoreganj attended as special guests
CAB in Kishoreganj President Alam Sarowar Tito said that, safe food would play a very significant role in building a healthy and strong nation.
 Safe Food Officer Ashraful Alam said, The incumbent government is making efforts to build safe food production, processing, preservation marketing , consumption habits. Public awareness can make this efforts more fruitful and successful,
Later, at least 40 men involving hotel-restaurant participated in the meeting.
Farmer killed, elder serious in Pakundia lighting strike
A young farmer named Deen Islam (24) was killed in a lightning strike while working as a labor on another’s land at Majitpur Purbapara village in Egarsindur union of the upazila in Pakundia of Kishoreganj on Sunday morning.
Besides, Khairul Islam( 28,) elder brother of the deceased was seriously injured in the incident.
When the rain and thunder started, they went to the verandah of a nearby Panjegana mosque and waited.
Deen Islam died on the spot due to lightning. Besides, Khairul Islam was injured. The locals rescued him and took him to pakundia Health Complex.
Officer in charge (OC in Pakundia ) Sarwar Jahan has confirmed the casualties in the lightning strike.”
