“Conducting appropriate investigations into corruption cases is a very important task. The Anti-Corruption Commission will have to take necessary steps to enhance the efficiency and capability of the investigation officers,” he said when an ACC delegation, led by its Chairman Iqbal Mahmood, met him at Bangabhaban.
During the meeting, the ACC team submitted the annual report for the year 2018 to the President.
“The ACC chairman apprised the President of various aspects of the report during the meeting. The delegation also highlighted various activities to prevent corruption,” President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told UNB after the meeting.
