A five-member executive committee of WildTeam, a conservation organisation, was elected at its annual general meeting in the city on Thursday, with Enayetullah Khan as its Chairman.
The meeting elected Professor M Harunur Rashid as its Vice-chairman, while Professor Dr Md Anwarul Islam General Secretary, Dr Gawsia Wahidunnessa Chowdhury Treasurer and Enam Ul Haque member.
The WildTeam is carrying out its activities to improve the conservation status of key species and habitats in Bangladesh, and developing partnerships, tools, and platforms to build the capacity of organisations and individuals to carry out effective conservation in the country.
