Enayet Karim to fight for GSF President post

Bangladeshi sports organizer and economist Dr Enayet Karim is going to contest for the President of United Nations affiliated International sports organization-Global Sports Federation (GSF). The election is scheduled to be held during 7-8 October in Gujarat, India.
Besides Dr. Karim, the candidates of Greece, Australia and Suriname are contesting for the top position of the GSF.
More than 80 countries have already given support to Bangladeshi candidate for the top position, while Indian candidate Vikubhai Patel has almost confirmed the post of General Secretary, according to the latest available result of ‘electoral vote.’ Representatives of 155 member countries of GSF will cast their vote to elect the apex body of the federation for next three years.
Dr Enayet Karim is presently holding the position of president of Asia-Pacific Sports Federation and Global Economist Forum respectively.
It is worth mentioning that the Global Sports Federation is working for the upliftment of sports for bringing peace in the world.
