Enamul Jr. bags 5-wicket as Dhaka Metro scores 231/8 on day 2

An impressive bowling spell by Enamul Haque Jr. saw him bagging five wickets as Dhaka Metro suffered a batting debacle in their first innings staggering at 231 for 8 against Sylhet Division on the second day of tier-2 four-day 19th Walton Smart Fridge National Cricket League held on Friday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Skipper Marshal Ayub was unlucky as he fell two runs short from a deserving century falling victim to nervous ninety. He shared 102-run fourth wicket stand with former national skipper Mohammad Ashraful who chipped in with an useful 40 to rescue Dhaka from a total embarrassment.
Jabid Hossain and Dollar Mahmud were on the crease with 10 and 5 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Apart from Enamul’s five for 77 runs, Abu Jayed, Rahatl Ferdous and Shamsur Rahman shared one wicket each.
Earlier, Sylhet Division resumed their first innings on the second day with overnight score at 241 for 6 and were finally bowled all out for 319.

Saykat Ali, Sharif Ullah and Nihaduzzaman all shared three wickets each conceding 53, 77 and 101 runs respectively.
