Staff Reporter :
Enam International has strongly protested a media report that accused the company of syndication in Saudi visa processing. The report was published in different local newspapers recently. In a statement issued on August 23, the company said, “The report has come to notice and we on behalf of Alhaj Enamul Haque, Proprietor of Enam International strongly protest the report with utter astonishment. ‘We are utterly shocked’. The report was prepared based on false, incorrect and distorted information, which we are clearly rejecting and protesting wholeheartedly from our side.
“We, the Enam International, are doing business in international recruiting sector with good fame and reputation in Bangladesh. We achieved two times CIP rewards and facility from the Government of Bangladesh. Without authentication of facts, including numerous factual errors clearly directed to hard business fame and reputation,” said the statement.

“It is totally false, fabricated and bias news. It is pertinent to be mentioned here that by some vicious business cycle this false news has been printed against us and we strongly protesting against this,” Alhaj Enamul Haque told The New Nation yesterday. He added, “I have been doing manpower export business for the last 32 years with good reputation. So, a vested quarter might be launched a smear campaign against me and my recruiting agency from utter jealousy.” When asked, Alhaj Enamul Haque said, “So far my recruiting agency sent 100,000 Bangladeshis to Saudi Arabia, 52,000 to Dubai and 8000 to Malaysia. We are also sending Bangladeshi workers to Qatar and Oman.”

Regarding the ‘alleged’ syndication in Saudi visa processing, he said, “The incumbent Consular of Saudi Embassy has been issuing 6000 visas per day should be appreciated,”

Alhaj Enamul Haque also urged the media personnel to be more careful on preparing reports on the manpower export sector when overseas employment and inward remittances have been paying a major role in Bangladesh’s economic development. “A false and fabricated media report can cause great harm to the country’s overseas employment sector and thereby lead to significant fall in manpower export,” he added. Alhaj Enamul Haque also mentioned that Bangladesh’s manpower export continues to rise despite various challenges at home and abroad.
