Sri Lanka posted an emphatic nine-wicket victory over minnows Netherlands in their Group A match of the ICC World Twenty20 Cricket at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Monday.
Sri Lankan bowlers bowled extremely well and demolishing Netherlands innings for a fragile 39 off 10.3 overs. It was the ever lowest total in a Twenty20 affair.

played the vital role in wrecking Netherlands innings.
Ajantha Mendis and Angelo Mathews captured three wickets each instead of 12 and 16 runs respectively. They were well supported by Lasith Malinga, who claimed two wickets at the cost of just five runs and Nuwan Kulasekara picked up one wicket for naught.
Tom Cooper was the only Dutch batsman, who could reach double digit figures scoring 16 from 18 balls with two fours.
Needing 40 runs to win, Sri Lanka romped home in just five overs making exact 40 for the loss of one wicket.
Kusal Perera made 14 from 10 balls with one four and one six while TM Dilshan and Mahela Jayawardene remained unbeaten with 12 and 11 runs respectively.
MA Jamil got one wicket conceding 18 runs.
