Generally when Eid or special days come, popular actor and model Emon is seen to work in special play or telefilm. Rest of the time he engages with acting in movies. Therefore, he also performs as a model in TV commercials. This Eid he will be seen in several numbers of plays and telefilms.
For the first time Emon paired up with Monalisa in an Eid play titled Mr Perfectionist. Khairul Bashar Nirjhor wrote story of the play. Rashed Raha gave direction of the play. Shooting of the play was done in the city’s Uttara area.
By this play Monalisa worked with Emon after six years. In 2010, they first worked together in a play titled Tok Jhal Mishti written by Rumman Rashid Khan under the direction of Noim Imtiaz Neyamul.
While talking about the play Monalisa told this correspondent, “Earlier I and Emon performed together in a TVC of a mobile company. We worked together in several numbers of TVCs later. But we worked together in a play. Al the works with Emon became popular to the viewers. Story of this Eid’s play is really nice. Rashed Raha has made the play sincerely and cordially. We also worked sincerely.”
Emon said, “This Eid I have worked in several numbers of good telefilms. As a part of its continuation, my work with Monalisa was in this play. She is very close to me. It was my first work with her after returning from USA. Story of the play is very good. For this reason, we have enjoyed a lot.”
