Bangladesh Labour Party (BLP) has removed Dr Mostafizur Rahman Iran from the position of Chairman and primary membership of the party for his self-willed, unethical and anti organizational activities.
The decision came out from a central executive committee meeting of the party held at its city office on Sunday.
Besides, the committee also elected its Vice Chairman Emdadul Haque Chowdhury as the Chairman of the BLP.
The meeting was presided over by the Vice Chairman Mahbubur Rahman Khaled while Vice Chairman Moslem Uddin, Advocate Aminul Islam Raju, Jaffor Ullah Chowdhury, Jahirul Haque Chowdhury, its General Secretary Hamadullah Al Mehedy, its President of Dhaka (South) Shamsuddin Parvej, President of Dhaka (North) SM Yousuf, among others, were present.
