Elites FC clinched the Bangabandhu-Walton Amateur Futsal title beating Dhaka Tribune by 2-1 goals in tie-breaker at the Shaheed Capt (retd) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Friday. Earlier, the final match between the two teams was locked in 1-1 goals in the stipulated period. Intisar Mustafa Chowdhury and Arif Ahmed of the champions Elites FC were adjudged highest scorer and best goalkeeper of the tournament respectively while FC Tikitaka named as the most disciplined team to receive fair play trophy.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell witnessed the day’s final as the chief guest and later he distributed the prizes.
