Elite Players Conditioning Camp begins

The month-long Elite Players Conditioning Camp (EPCC) of Bangladesh cricketers started with 25 national cricketers instead of 27 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on Saturday.
Bangladesh ODI skipper Masrafe Bin Mortaza and world number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan could not join in the camp from the beginning as they were on vacation in the United States and Singapore respectively.
The Tigers will work on their fitness for the first two weeks under the supervision of the National Cricket Team’s Strength and Conditioning Coach Mario Villavarayen.
Tigers’ skill training will begin in the first week of September under the Bangladesh national team head coach Chandika Hathurusingha, who is now on leave. He will take charge of the camp after returning from the vacation.
The camp will conclude on September 22 ahead of the two match Test series against Australia in October.
