Speakers at a discussion on Friday urged the government to eliminate corruption from the education sector.
They also demanded for the new Education Law as early as possible.
The speakers said this at a reunion and discussion titled “Prevent the Corruption and Ensure the Quality Education” held in a city hotel on Friday afternoon.
Ideal School and College Ovibhabok Forum (ISCOF) organised the programme.

ISCOF Chairman Md Ziaul Kabir Dulu presided over the programme while Justice Md Nizamul Hoque was present there as the chief guest.
Dr Ganendra Nath Biswas, Former Assistant Secretary to the Primary and Mass Education, Professor Md Afzal Hossain of Marketing Department of Dhaka University, Rokeya Begum, former district judge and Md Selim Uddin, General Secretary of ISCOF spoke at the function, among others.
