The election of Chattogram City Rickshaw Owners Parisad was held on 14 September at Bangladesh Railway M.S Hoque Sriti Auditorium. A 17 – member committee was formed as per Labour Law and the new committee performed their duty for next three years, says a press release .
Commissioner of election sub-committee Md. Yaziullah act as election Commissioner. Lion Mohammed Mojibur Rahman elected as president Md. Nurul Islam,Md. Mofzal Ahmed Ladu,Md Khurshed Alam elected as Vice President Mohammed Mojibur Rahman was elected as General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary elected are Mizanur Rahman Mostafa and Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury.
Other office- bearers are: Organizing Secretary Mohammed Toslim, Office Secretary Mohammed Alauddin, Finance Secretary Mohammad Ali, Social Welfare Secretary Mohammed Elius, Publicity Secretary Abdul Karim, Cultural Secretary & Sports Secretary Mohammed Sekander Ali and executive Members are Mohammed Ibrahim, Mohammed Israfil, Moklesur Rahman and Imam Hossain Raju.
