Election of BCSA executives held Sheikh Hafizur Rahman has been elected chairman of Bangladesh Container Shipping Association in a meeting held at its office recently.
The other office bearers are as follows: Shamim Ul Huq (Maersk) – Vice Chairman, T Sivakumar (APL) – Vice Chairman, Capt AS Chowdhury (Sea Consortium) – General Secretary, Mohammed Mahbubul Alam (NYK Line) – Treasurer, and members: Faruber Anwar (Trident Shipping/Gold Star Line& Seth Shipping), Bevin Mack (GBX Logistics/Hapag Lloyd).
Two honorary advisers were also elected they are: Mizanur Rahman and M Nurul Alam.
