UNB, Naogoan :
A man was allegedly killed after being hit with a stick by his elder brother over a trifling matter at Dodanghi village in Manda upazila on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ishhak Ali, 37, son of Nasir Uddin, a resident of the village.
Police said Ishhak locked into altercation with his elder brother Joyen Uddin over the drainage of rainwater to his house from the roof of the elder’s housel around 7am.
Infuriated, Joyen hit his brother with a stick, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, Police recovered the body.
Police also arrested Joyen, his wife and two daughters in this connection.
Mozaffar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Naogoan Police Station, confirmed the incident.
