Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore has observed the Language Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day-2016 in a befitting manner.
On the occasion, a discussion on Amar Ekushey was held recently at the Singapore Polytechnic Institute auditorium.
The attraction of the day was a cultural event “Rodone Bhora Basanta” direction by Milia Islam Sabed that comprised of songs commemorating immortal Ekushey.
Children from different schools learning Bengali dressed in colorful attires presented dance and poetry recitations that kept the audience enthralled and spellbound.
The cultural event presented by the first secretary of the High Commission Samia Islam.
