Eight more people died at the COVID unit in Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the past 24 hours from Monday 6am to 6am Tuesday.
Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, Director of the hospital, confirmed the matter this morning.
None of of them was confirmed Covid-19 positive but all had the virus symptoms.
Among the dead, three were from Noagaon, and one each from Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Natore, Sirajganj, and Tangail districts.
