Eight men’s and women’s section matches of the Marcel Victory Day Rugby Competition were decided on the opening day on Sunday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
In the day’s matches, Bangladesh Army in men’s group matches beat Rajdhani Club by 50-0 points in their first match, defeated Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club 48-0 while Flame Boys rugby team beat Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club 29-7 in their first match and outplayed Rajdhani Rugby Club 22-0 in their second game.
In the women’s group matches, Topdil.cpm bd rugby team beat Azad Sporting Club 45-0 in their first match and defeated Victoria Sporting Club 30-0 in their second match.
On the other hand, Flame girls’ rugby club beat Victoria Sporting Club 20-0 in their first match and outclassed Azad SC 27-0 in their second game.
