A total of eight dwelling houses gutted in a fire at South Chonhora village under Potia upazila in Chittagong at around 5.30 am on Tuesday morning. The loss of fire is estimated to be around Tk five lakh, said the sources in fire brigade.
The fire incident took place at around 5 am. The fire suspected to be originated from electric short circuit Fire fighter vehicles rushed to the areas at around 5. 15 am and controlled the fire. But, by that time five dwelling houses of the area gutted.
