Eight members of Detective Branch (DB) of Police were withdrawn from their duties on Monday centering a clash between some detectives and shop employees in Naraynganj.
They have been attached to the Masadiar Police Lines in the district, reports our local correspondent quoting police.
The cops personnel are: DB Inspector Masudur Rahman, Sub-Inspector (SI) Mizanur Rahman, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Azizur Rahman, ASI Dewan Toufiq, Bakul Mia, Aminur Haque and Constable Lutfar Rahman.
Mohammad Nur-e-Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police and Chief of the probe team of the incident, said, “A three-members probe tam led by me has been formed to investigate the incident.”
We will submit the report soon after investigating the incident, the police official said.
“If we find guilty against anybody then he will face action as per rule,” he said.
Earlier, a clash ensued as DB SI Khairul Bashar refused to pay the bill after taking different types of food items at ‘My Life Care Fast food’ on Sunday by showing the cause of providing sub-standard food to them. The food shop is near Fantasy Park in Chourangi area of the district.
