The holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the most important and the greatest religious ceremony of the Muslim community was observed in Bagerhat District Town, it’s all the nine Upazilas and villages with great enthusiasm and religious fervour as else where of the country on Tuesday.
 On the occasion the biggest and the largest congregation of the district was held in the World Heritage and historic Sait Gumbaz mosque of great saint Hazrat Peer Khaja Khan Jahan Ali (peace be on him), 6 kilometer off Bagerhat district town. Some several thousand devotees including DC, District Judge and Police Super of Bagerhat participated in the congregation. The congregation was also held in the local Alia Madrasa premises, Bagerhata central (old Court) mosque, Mithapukur mosque, Railway mosque. Launch ghat mosque, Falpatty mosque, Nagerbazar mosque, Purtan Bazar mosque. PTI mosque, New Court mosque, Basabati Amtala mosque, Govt. P C College mosque, KB fish market mosque, Water Board mosque etc.
After the congregation prayer was offered seeking the blessings of almighty Allah for peace, progress and development of the country, her people and as well for the Muslim Ummah. Special prayer offered in the congregation seeking the blessings of Him so that the people of the country and as well as of the whole world can get rid of corona pandemic for good.
Staff Reporter from Rangpur says: The holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festivity of the Muslims was celebrated amid a pleasant cloudy weather with due religious fervor and solemnity and tight security measures here on Tuesday.
 The Musollis of all ages, attired in traditional Eid dresses, participated at Eid-ul-Fitr congregations held at different Eidgahs, mosques and grounds in the city, all eight upazilas and three municipalities across the district.
 Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP), District Police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13, Police Investigation Bureau and other law enforcement and intelligence agencies took ample steps to ensure peaceful holding of Eid congregations in festive atmosphere.
 Rangpur City Corporation with assistance of the district administration and other authorities concerned prepared the Central Collectorate Eidgah and decorated the main streets with colourful flags bearing inscriptions ‘Eid Mubarak’ in the city.
Besides, the main streets and major buildings and mosques were illuminated and colorfully decorated marking the Eid-ul-Fitr festivity.
The important government and private buildings and mosques were colorfully decorated and illuminated giving charming looks to the city. Improved diets were served to inmates of different hospitals, jails, shishu paribars, orphanages and vagrant welfare centres.
The main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation was held at the Central Collectorate Eidgah at 8:30 am with participation of thousands of Musollis, including high officials, political leaders and dignitaries of the city. Divisional Commissioner Md. Abdul Wahhab Bhuiyan, Mayor of Rangpur Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa, Deputy Commissioner Md. Asib Ahsan, high officials and dignitaries and participated in the main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation.
 Besides, leaders of Awami League and other political parties, public representatives, academics, business community leaders, civil society members, professionals, journalists and elite of the city participated in the main congregation.
 RpMP Commissioner Abdul Alim Mahmud participated in the Eid-ul-Fitr congregation held at RpMP Police Lines ground while Superintendent of Police Md. Ferdous Ali Chowdhury took part at the Eid congregation held at Police Lines ground.
 Like in the previous years, the biggest Eid-ul-Fitr congregation of the district was held at Taluk Habu Eidgah Maidan under Gangachara upazila.
 In Rangpur city, the other bigger Eid congregations were held at Keramotia Jam-e-Mosque, Nasirabad Ekramia Jam-e-Mosque, Kamal Kachhna Jam-e-Mosque, Mahiganj Afan Ullah Jam-e-Mosque, Mahiganj College Mosque, Satmatha Jam-e-Mosque, Munshipara Eidgah, Central Bus Terminal Jam-e-Mosque, RCCI School and College ground, Jummapara Eidgah, Shalbon Mistripara Eidgah, Medical College ground, Nilkanthya Master Para Eidgah, Pakar Matha Jam-e-Mosque, Bahar Kachhna Jam-e-Mosque, Damodarpur Baro Eidgah, Khasbag Angur Mian Jam-e-Mosque, Alamnagar Waqf Mosque, Dhap Mohammadpur Jam-e-Mosque between 8:30 am and 9:30 am.
Besides, dozens of Eid-ul-Fitr congregations were held in the local Eidgahs, mosques, open places and grounds at all eight upazila headquarters and rural areas as per locally fixed time schedules between 8:30 am and 10:30 am.
The Musollis offered special munajats at all Eid congregations seeking divine blessings for eternal peace of departed souls of their nearer and dearer ones, continued peace and prosperity of the country, its people and Muslim Ummah and humanity as a whole.
BSS from Rajshahi reports : The main Eid-ul-Fitr jamaat (congregation) of Rajshahi city was held at Hazrat Shah Makhdum (R) Jame Mosque at 8 am because the scheduled main Eid congregation at Shahmukhdum Eidgah has been abandoned due to inclement weather.
Muhtamim of Jameya Islamia Shahmukhdum Maulana Shahadat Ali conducted the prayers.
Like the main Eid jamaat, most of the eid congregations at the scheduled places were abandoned and the devotees offered their Eid-prayers at the nearby mosques.
Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation AHM Khairuzzaman Liton offered his Eid prayers at Kadirganj Baitul Aman Jame Mosque.
Thousands of Musallis at the end of Eid jamaats offered special munajats seeking divine blessings and eternal peace of departed souls particularly their near and dear ones, continued peace, progress, and prosperity of the country and as well as greater welfare of the Muslim Ummah.
 Some other big Eid jamaats in the city were held at Rajshahi University, RUET campus, Hatemkha, Shalbagan, Alif Lam Meem Bhata, Police Line, Mahisbathan and Upashahar. On the other hand, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival of the Muslims, is being celebrated in Rajshahi city and the adjacent districts with due fervor, joy and solemnity. Improved diets are being served to the inmates of different hospitals, jails, Shishu Paribars, orphanages and vagrant welfare centres in all districts on the occasion.
BSS from Khulna says: The holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the greatest religious festival of the uslims, was celebrated in the city and district as elsewhere in the country on Tuesday with due religious fervor, solemnity and tight security measures.
 The main Eid Congregation was held at Khulna Circuit House Ground at 8.00am in the city.
 Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Talukder Abdul Khaleque, Divisional Commissioner of Khulna Md Ismail Hossain,, Deputy Commissioner of Khulna Md Moniruzzaman Talukder, Chairman of Khulna District Council Sheikh Harun-ur-Rashid, city and district level officials including, leaders of the political parties, elite of the city, professionals and people from all walks of life joined the congregation.
 Mowlana Md. Saleh, Khatib of Town Jame Mosque, conducted the main Eid prayers. Another big Eid Jamaat was also held at City’s Model Jame Mosque, adjacent to Alia Madrasa, at 8.30am while the third big Jamaat was held at Town Jame Mosque at 9.00am.
 The other Eid Jamaats were also held on the premises of city’s Islamabad Eidgah, Khalishpur Eidgah, Alia Madrsa, Baitun Nur Jame Mosque, PTI Jame Mosque, KDA Nirala Jame Mosque, Basupara Eidgah, Iqbal Nagar Jame Mosque, Baitunnur Jame Mosque, Talimul Millat Darul Ulum Jame Mosque, Deana Eidgah, Farazipara Eidgah, Zila Police Line Maidan, Boyra Metropolitan Police Line Maidan, Zoragate C&B Colony Maidan, B L College Maidan, all KCC Wards and all upazila headquarters in Khulna district. A total of 1,006 Eid Jamaat were held in the city and all nine upazila in the district while same numbers of volunteer committees were deployed, other than police protection, for safety and security all Eid Jamaat, said Md Moniruzzaman Talukder, Deputy Commissioner of Khulna. Main roads were decorated with festoons and flags inscribed with ‘Eid Mubarak’ and ‘Allahu Akbar’.
Special and improved diets were also served among the inmates of the different hospitals, jails, Shishu Paribars, orphanages and vagrant welfare centers of the city and district.
 BSS from Jamalpur adds: The Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslims, was celebrated in the district Tuesday with religious fervour after the holy month of Ramzan.
The main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitar was held at ‘Jamalpur Eidgah Math’ in the town at 8.15 am just before beginning rain. But subsequently due to torrents of rain, many Muslim devotees performed Eid congregations in various mosques.
 After prayers, special Munajats were offered seeking divine blessing, peace, prosperity and mercy to the all mighty Allah for the Muslim community. Many devotees also visited the graveyard of their near and dears and offered Fateha. Awami League Organising Secretary Mirza Azam, MP, offered his Eid-ul-Fitar prayers at a mosque in ‘Balizuri area in Madarganj upazila in the district in the morning due to rain. After Eid jamaat, Mirza Azam exchanged Eid greetings with people at his residence in Madarganj upazila.
