The holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival for the muslims, was celebrated in different district with due fervor, joy, enthusiasm, gaiety and solemnity on Saturday. Our Correspondents and agencies report:
Khulna (South) Correspondent reports: With due religious fervor, Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated in Khulna on Saturday. The main Eid congregation was held at 8am at Khulna Circuit House Maidan.
However, Musallies gathered at all mosques and Eidgahs in Khulna city and at nine upazila areas of Khulna district.
Maolana Md. Abu Saleh, Pesh Imam of Khulna Town Jame Mosque and also former Principal of Khulna Alia Madrasa conducted the first congreagation.
In the first congregation, local law maker of Khulna-2 constituency Alhaj Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Alhaj Moniruzzaman Moni, Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md.Abdus Samad, Deputy commissioner (DC) Amin-Ul-Ahsan, District Council Administrator Sheikh Harunur Rashid, Khulna city unit President of BNP and also former MP of Khulna-2 constituency Md. Nazrul Islam Monju, Khulna district unit President of BNP advocate SM Shafiqul Alam Mona, leaders and activists of different political parties, businessmen and higher officials of administration and others were present in the Eid congregation.
Like the previous years, KCC authorities gave gates at 31 wards throughout the city.
Eid-ul-Azha congregation were held at Khulna Alia Madrasa, Khanjahannagor Talimul Millat Madrasa, Baitun Nur Jame mosque, Baitullah Jame mosque at Sonadanga, Khulna University Mosque, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Daulatpur BL College mosque, Daulatpur Eidgah and Khalishpur Eidgah.
Narsingdi Correspondent says: The holy Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated in Narsingdi district on Saturday with due religious fervor and festivity.
The main Eid congregation was hold at the callectorate Edgah adjacent to the local DC office under the auspices of the district administration.
Khatib of Collectorate Mosque Mowlana Nasir Uddin lead the jamaat.
Leaders of political parties, elite of the town professional joined the congregation. The other Eid congregations were also held at Datta para Eidgah, Chinishpur Eidgah, Narsingdi Government Collage Eidgah, Police Line Eidgah Ground, Jamea Kashemia Madrasha Eidgah ground, Ranggamaty Eidgh, Shatirpara Eidgh, Baluakandi Madrash Eidgah, Kawarapara Poura Eidgah Ground, Banichal Sapnar Eidgah, Vhalanogar Eidgah, Shaprotab Eidgah Chowalla Eidgah, Birpur Eidgah and Novabbari Poura Eidgah.
Thousands of Muslims offered specal munajat seeking divine blessings and peace of the departed soul and continued peace progress and prosperity of the country and Muslim Ummah.
They also visited to relatives, Friends and neighbors exchange greeting amibst festive mood.
Deputy commissioner Dr. Shovash Chondor Bhiyshash paid exchange greeting to Government officials elite of the town and other at Cirkit House and local, House, He also exchange greeting to the orphan and disadvantage children.
Bagerhat Correspondent reports: The Holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest and important religious ceremony of the Muslim community was celebrated in Bagerhat district town and its all the nine Upazilas with due respect, pomp and splendor on Tuesday as else where of the country.
The biggest Eid congregation was held in the historic Saitgumbaz mosque of great saint Hazrar Peer Khaja Khan Jahan Ali (peace be on him), 8 kilometers away from here. It was attended by thousand of devotee Muslims including Al-haj Dr. Mozammel Hossain, MP of Bagerhat Constituency-4 and Al-haj Adv. Mir Shswkat Ali Badsha, MP of Bagerhat Constituency-2. Eid congregation was also held in Bagerhat Alia Madrasa premises, Bagerhat Central (old court) mosque, Mithapukur mosque, Railway mosque, Nagerbazar mosque, PTI mosque, Basabati mosque, WAPDA mosque, Launchghat mosque and all other mosques of the district town. After Eid congregation special prayer was held for peace, tranquility, integrity and prosperity of the country which should be free from militancy, terrorism and communalism. Prayer was also held for the welfare of the Muslim Ummah.
This year a number of Muslim devotees could not sacrifice animals in the name of Almighty Allah on Saturday for want of sacrificial animals and their high prices. Some of them performed the Kurbani on the following day after managing the sacrificial animals.
Dupchanchia (Bogra) Correspondent: Students Association of Gunaher, a student welfare non-political organisation, (SAG) has celebrated the Eid-ul-Azha through various programmes in Dupchanchia upazila of Bogra district.
An awareness function on Early Marriage was also arranged here participating hundreds adolescents and women in Taluch O H K High School premises marking the Eid. A mime action was displayed to speed joy before the audience by Emran Hossain who participates in International mime action completion at Dhaka University recently and secretary of the SAG.
The SAG was set up in the upazila with the participation of glorious students of Differnt University including Dhaka University, and BUET aiming to assist the common student theses who are interest to admit different renowned educational institutions elsewhere the country last June 2017. Having established it, the members of the SAG are working for betterment of students.
Prize giving ceremony was held among the winners of quizze completion at Taluch O H K High school premise presided over Mamhbubur Rhman former students BUET while function executive of RTV Aranno Pasha speaking as chief guest how to develop on study.

The administrations and authorities concerned ensured peaceful celebrations of Eid-ul-Azha by taking necessary steps and deploying adequate number of police, Ansar-VDP, RAB personnel and volunteers.
The Muslims of all ages offered munajats seeking divine blessings and eternal peace for the departed souls of their nearest and dearest ones and continued peace, progress and prosperity of the country, its people and Muslim Ummah.
On the occasion, key buildings were illuminated and decorated with colourful flags and banners adorned with Eid Mubarak.
Improved diets were served to inmates of hospitals, jails, shishu paribars, orphanages and vagrant welfare centres in all eights districts of the division.

The main Eid jamaat was held at Hazrat Shah Mukhdum (R) Central Eidgah Moidan at 8am. Principal of Jameya Islamia Shahmukhdum Mufti Muhammad Shahdat Ali conducted the prayers.
Fazley Hossain Badsha, MP, City Mayor Mosaddeque Hossain Bulbul, former Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, Commissioner of Rajshahi division Nur-Ur-Rahman and Deputy Commissioner Helal Mahmud Sharif offered their Eid prayers along with other dignitaries at the Central Eidgah.
The second and third largest ones were held at City Eidgah (Tikapara) and Shaheb Bazar Zero Point respectively at the same time.

Around 130 other Eid jamaats were held at the traditional and temporary venues in the Rajshahi metropolis.

Children, young boys and girls wearing colorful dresses gathered these places where small makeshift shops were set up to sell different homemade foods and toys.
