Eid Jamat Committee distributed new clothes for orphans

The Annual General meeting and Iftar party followed by Islamic cultural competitions among the orphans and madrasa students including Hamd-Nath, , Kirat and Azan competition was held at Chattogram circuit house auditorium on Thursday as arranged by the Chattogram Central Eid Jamaat committee with Deputy commissioner Md Elias Hossain in the chair. Additional Deputy commissioner(General) Md. Habibur Rahman graced the occasion as special guests.
The program begins at 3 pm through reciting Quran duly conducted by the Secretary General Principal Dr Abdul Karim . Secretary General delivered address of welcome and presented the annual reports of the CEJC in it. Treasurer of the committee Alhaj Saleh Ahmed Suleman placed the annual financial statement before the AGM.
After end of the competitions of the orphans , prizes were distributed among the winners . Students of different Etimkhanas and Madrasas participated the competitions. Principal Dr Abdul Karim conducted the competitions of religious events. DC distributed clothes among the poors and orphan students . Deputy commissioner urges the affluent to come forward for the welfare of the poors and orphans of different etimkhanas and madrasas . He said the madrasa students are dedicating themselves for flourishing the Islamic culture and heritage . He also emphasized about significance of Zakat . He assures all sorts of cooperations for the Eid Jammat Committee.
Principal Hazrat Moulana Dr Sayeed Muhammad Abu Noman conducted munajat in the Iftar mahfil. Among others, Adv Mahbub Uddin Ahmad, Alhaj Shahjada Enayetullah Khan, Alhaj MA Quddus, Khawja Belayet ullah Khan, Alhaj Saleh Ahmed Suleman, Dastagir Alam Nasu, Ashrafuzzaman, Mir Fazle Akbar, SM Shoib Khan , Dr Akhtar Hossain Bhutto spoke on the occasion. The main Eid Jammat will be held at MA Aziz Stadium adjoining ground at early 8.30 am and at the same time other Eid jammats will also be held in 93 local Eidgaons in the city, meeting sources said.
