An Eid-E-Miladunnabi (Sm.) rally with religions festivity was brought out by Bangladesh Anjuman-E-Talamiz-E-Islamia in Sylhet City on Tuesday afternoon.
The rally was led by Moulana Gias Uddin Chowdhury, Former Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Badaruddin Ahmed Kamran, Former MP Shofiqur Rahman Chowdhury, Moulana Komor Uddin Chowdhury Fultoly, Moulana A.K.M Monwar Ali, President of Bangladesh Nejam-E-Islam Party, Advocate Moulana Abdur Rakib, Central President of Bangladesh Anjuman-E-Talamiz-E-Islamia Mohammed Fokhrul Islam, Central Leader of Bangladesh Anjuman-E-Al Islah Nozmul Huda Khan, Mahmud Hasan Chowdhury, Vice-Principal of School of Excellence Moulana Gufran Ahmed Chowdhury, Central GS of Bangladesh Anjuman-E-Talamiz-E-Islamia Mostafa Hasan Chowdhury Gilman, President of Sylhet District Baboshai Oykko Kollan Parishod Alhaj Shekh Mokhon Miah Chairman began from Subhanighat Darus Sunnah Eakubia Madrasha at 1.45 p.m. on Monday parading the main through fares Sylhet City.
Khulna Correspondent reports: The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the birth and demise of the greatest prophet Hazrat Muhammad(SM)(Peace Be Upon Him), was observed in Khulna city and at nine upazila areas of Khulna district on Tuesday with due veneration and religious fervor. On this day in 570 AD, the 12th day of Robiul Awal of the Hizri calendar, the greatest prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) was born in Makkah of Saudi Arabia with divine blessings and messages of peace for human being. He also passed away on the same day in 632 AD.
Dupchanchia (Bogra) Correspondent says: The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the birth and demise of our dearest Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) was observed due religious solemnity on Monday night under Dupchanchia upazila of Bogra district. To observe the day, various religious, socio-cultural and political organisations had taken elaborate programme, including discussions and milad mahfil, at the different mosques of the upazila.
Speakers said in their speech that on this day in 570, the 12th of Rabiul Awal of the Hijri calendar, Muhammad was born in Makkah of Saudi Arabia with divine blessings and messages of peace for mankind. He also passed away on the same day. The day is a public holiday.
