The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SA), was observed with religious fervor and gaiety in the Port City as elsewhere in the country on Sunday .
 On this day in 570 AD, the 12th of Rabiul Awal of the Hizri calendar, Prophet Muhammad was born in Makkah in Saudi Arabia with divine blessings and messages of peace for mankind. Under the auspices of Anjumane Rahmania Ahamadia Sunniya ,
Chattogram organised a ever largest traditional Jasne Julus( religious assembly & procession ) brought out in the port city at 8 am on Sunday from Solasahar Anjuman premises led by noted religious personality Syed Allama Taher Shah(MJA) . .Millions of devouts participated the julus and thousand hundreds of people irrespected of caste and creed observed the julus and religious leaders in the truck -based pandal by standing on both sides of the roads and Akhtaruzzaman flyover.
Hujur Kebla (Syed Taher Shah) was accompanied in the makeshift pandal by Shahjada Allama Syed Md. Kashem shah , Allama Syed Md. Hamed Shah, Advisor of Anjuman Trust and Chairman of PHP Family Sufi Mizamur Rahman, VP of Anjuman Trust Md. Mohsin, General Secretary Anowar Hossain,Addl Secretary Md. Shamsuddin, Joint Secy Sirajul Hoque . Joint secretary of Gousia Committee Bangladesh Advocate Mosahabuddin Bakhtiyar told that the Holy Miladnunabi Julus paraded the city roads via Solashahar, Bibirhat, Muradpur, Mirzapool, Kalagonj,Chowkbzar, Parade corner, Sirajdowla road, Anderkilla,Cheragi Pahar, Press club, Kazir Dewri, Alamas, WASA crossing, GEC circle which terminated at Anjuman Madrasa premises .
 BSS adds: Amir Hossain Sohel, secretary of Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust and convenor of ‘Jasne Julush’ claimed that nearly sixty lakh Muslim devotees from all over the country took part in the Jasne Julush.
