Rangpur unit of the Engineers’ Institution Bangladesh (EIB) distributed blankets among the cold-hit poor and distressed people in the city recently to mitigate their sufferings.
The blankets were distributed among 200 cold-hit people of all ages at separate ceremonies arranged at Zannatbag Hafizia Madrasa in Bakultola, Medical Purbo gate and Chileerjhar areas in the city.
President of Rangpur unit of IEB and Additional Chief Engineer of Rangpur Zone of the Public Works Department (PWD) Engineer Abdur Razzaque and other executive committee members of the organisation distributed the blankets.
