eGeneration appoints three independent directors

Md Eshaque Ali Khondakar, Dr Mohammed Shafiul Alam Khan and Dr Md Musfiqur Rahman have been appointed as independent directors to the Board of Directors of eGeneration Limited, according to a press release Saturday.
eGeneration received its IPO approval on October 21, 2020 — making it the first software technology company in Bangladesh to be listed on the bourses.
Md Eshaque Ali Khondakar, is currently working as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Matam Fibre Mills Ltd – one of the largest Yarn manufacturing companies in Bangladesh. Khondakar became FCA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). Prior to it, he completed his MA in English from Jahangirnagar University. He also completed his LL.B from the National University.
Dr Mohammed Shafiul Alam Khan is currently serving as a Director and Associate Professor of the Institute of Information Technology at the University of Dhaka. He received his Ph. D in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, Egham, United Kingdom. He did his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Department of Computer Science, University of Dhaka. He also completed his MBA from Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka.
Dr Md Musfiqur Rahman is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, University of Dhaka. Musfiqur completed his Ph.D under the supervision of Professor and Dean Dr Kazumi Suzuki, in the Graduate School of Business Administration, Kobe University, Japan.
He is the fellow member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), one of the leading professional institutes of Bangladesh. He has been working as a ‘consultant’ with the ICMAB since January 2019.
