Eminent educationist Prof Dr M A Aziz, former chairman of Department of International Relations (IR) of Dhaka University, died of old age complications on Thursday morning in the city’s Green Life Hospital. He was 94.
He left behind a son, two daughters, friends and relatives to mourn his death.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at the Dhaka University Mosque and later he was buried at Martyred Intellectual Graveyard at Mirpur on Thursday afternoon.
Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the Dhaka University, has expressed profound shock at the death of Professor Dr M A Aziz.
The vice-chancellor prayed for his eternal peace and conveyed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members.
