Founder of Stamford Univerisity Prof Dr MA Hannan died of brain stroke in a private hospital in the city on Sunday morning.
He was 62.
He left behind wife, two daughters, relative and well-wishers to mourn his death.
In a message of condolence, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu expressed deep shock at the death of Prof Dr MA Hannan.
The minister also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
