Different educational programmes will be taken in educational institutions across the country to observe the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary celebration national implementation committee held recently at the International Mother Language Institute in the city, a handout said.Chaired by chief coordinator of birth centenary celebration committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, the meeting was attended by Secondary and Higher Education Division Senior Secretary Md Sohorab Hossain, Technical and Madrasah Education Division Secretary Munshi Shahabudin Ahmed and Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) Prof Dr Syed Md Golam Faruk.
The meeting also discussed holding seminars and discussions on the life and educational thoughts of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at educational institutions.
