With a view to build an educated and prosperous nation, speakers underscored the need for ensuring the right to education for the poor and underprivileged communities. They viewed that access to education for all is an urgent need for overall development of the country. Collective efforts of all government and non-government organizations concerned are of essence in this regard. Beside, the government, rich people of the society and financial institutions should come forward for providing education support to the underprivileged students.
The observation came at a bank-chaque giving ceremony organised by Rajshahi Zila Parishad at its office in Rajshahi . On the occasion, 357 underprivileged meritorious students from different educational institutions in the district were given financial support worth Taka 4.60 lakh.
