BNP leader Rizvi gets HC bail

UNB, Dhaka :The High Court on Sunday granted ad-interim bail to BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in two separate cases filed for carrying out subversive activities.An HC bench comprising Justice Mohammad Rezaul Haque and Justice Mohammad Khasruzzaman passed the order yesterday.The court also issued a rule asking the government to explain why the BNP leader should not be given permanent bail in the two cases.Advocate Joynul Abedin stood for the petitioner while deputy attorney general Fazlur Rahman Khan...
