EDU holds cultural function

East Delta University (EDU), Chittagong organised a prize giving ceremony after a day long cultural function recently at the Engineering Institute in the port city.
Sayeed Al Noman, Founder Vice Chairman of the university, inaugurated the programme as the Chief Guest. Ayub Bachchu, a leading band musician and leader of band LRB performed as a musician in the cultural function titled `EDU ROCKS’.
Prof Muhammad Sekandar Khan, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Obaidul Karim, Dean of Faculties, Sazia Abdullah, member, Board of Trustee, Prof Dr Debasish Chakraborty, Visiting foreign guest faculty, Shafayet Kabir Chowdhury, Registrar of EDU, students and Guardians were present on the occasion.
Chief Guest Sayeed Al Noman said, the students of EDU had brilliant performance in all major competitions over the last five years at home and abroad including Drishti Brain Storming, International Supply Chain Education Alliance, Social Business Plan Competition, Inter University Robot Competition, Inter University Beach Cricket and One Young World Summit in South Africa. On the day, the whole compound was colourfully decorated.
Students of EDU played popular songs on the occasion. It was a captivate evening that was enjoyed by all. Mehnaz, Zaheida, Naziha, Tasnia, Jitt, Raja, Rifat, Nazmul, Rafsan, Masud, Sabil, Samin, Sajan, Fahima, Fatima, Humaira, Sara, Maisha, Rifa, Esha, Raisa, Kamol Gandha, Shorna, Anhar, Tahsin, Fariha, Shakil and Joy and the teachers, officials and many other students of the departments also performed in the programme.
