Bangladesh Retired Government Employees Welfare Association (BRGEWA) of Manikganj district unit distributed cheques of education scholarship among their wards for 2015.
On this occasion, a meeting was held at the conference room of Deputy Commissioner on Thursday. Chairman of the association Prof. AAA Asaduzzaman chaired the function.
Deputy Commissioner Rashida Ferdous was present it as chief guest. Former District Education Officer and General Secretary of the association Md. Moslemuddin, Assistant Treasurer Md. Abdur Rouf Biswas and others spoke on the occasion.
A total of Taka 80,000 was distributed among 17 students as scholarship money.
