Hundreds of people have been struggling to get service of National ID Card as the server of NID authority cracked on January 10.
Without giving any notice, the Election Commission (EC) closed the server citing technical problem where the data of 11 crore voter are preserved.
Every day on an average 5000 people across the country use to take the service of NID.
Those who come from different parts of the country suffer a lot due to the problem.
However, EC did not serve any notice explaining the cause of server disorder though the problem began 11 days ago.
The Election Commission has agreements with 82 institutions, including the passport office and banks, to give them access to the NID database. NIRW officials say they are afraid that the server issue may result in abrupt shutting of the services.
